JASON M. BARR (Ph.D., Columbia University) is Assistant Professor in the Rutgers-Newark Department of Economics. His research interests include industrial organization, computational economics, and the economics of education. He is the author of “Teacher Location Choice and the Distribution of Quality: Evidence from New York City,” (forthcoming) Contemporary Economic Policy; “Cournot Competition, Organization and Learning,” (2005) Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control (with F. Saraceno); and “A Statistical Analysis of the Newark Public Schools” (Working Paper August 2004). He teaches Introduction to Econometrics, Introduction to Microeconomics, and Industrial Organization.
